My Story

I am an idealist. I look around God's creation and see an answer to every problem. I look around my garden and see a powerful and reliable coalition of allies ready to help me through a bout with some dry skin, a long cold and flu season, or a very long and stressful day. Over the course of becoming a wife and then mom of five children, I have been consumed with a deep desire to understand and make use of these abundant remedies that are often only known as common roadside weeds. I have created many skincare and household products to replace things we bought at the store with convoluted labels and hidden ingredients.

You shouldn't have to stress about ingredients making a skin condition worse or throwing off your hormones. You should know that whatever you put on your skin isn't fighting your body, but instead nourishing and supporting it. You should have confidence that your cup of tea has herbs that are fresh and potent enough to be more than a simple placebo. 

Excellence is my ambition. Everything I have to offer from tallow balm to shampoo bars to herbal tea blends is made from ingredients as local and high quality as possible. Sometimes from a local rancher, sometimes found along a path in Black Forest, sometimes from my garden or milk stand. That priority ensures deeply nourishing products that highlight what Colorado has to offer.
